Mobile Phone Charger
Several days ago, my mobile phone stopped working. I find it very odd especially when I usually charge it nightly. Upon closer inspection, I found the wire of the AC charger has been chewed and left with over a dozen of tiny teeth marks. It did not take long for me to eliminate suspects and found the real culprit – the kittens.
Thus I had to purchase a replacement. I went by local Sprint store and was shocked at the price of a replacement charger - $39.99! It was over-priced; especially considering the phone itself was only $100 when I purchased it about two years ago.
I then went by several other stores include Fry’s electronics and Target. None of them had any charger that would fit my phone. Eventually I stop in at a Walgreen’s drug store, and there it was – “Just Wireless A/C Portable Charger” for $9.99.
On the side of the packaging, it stated that this model of charger (SKU 04014) not only will fit my Samsung A620, it would also fit other brands of phones.

i have a different phone, but the same charger. and about a year ago i had the exact same problem: my cat chewed through the cord! i wish i would have known about the cheaper charger...i forked over the fourty bucks.

I just had to buy a charger a few months ago in Toronto. Yepo, I paid the $30. I'm a sucker. Plus I always look for these universal ones when I am at discount places, but I haven't found one to fit my Sony-Ericsson T223.
Damn.
I also found a great website with very reasonably priced accessories for many cell phones and FREE shipping!!! I only paid $6.95 for a car charger for my Audiovox 8910 camera phone!
