Kerry Supporters Out Number Bush Supporters at CNN Broadcast in ASU

When I walked by CNN's media tent at ASU Main Campus this afternoon, there is significantly much more Kerry supporters than Bush's. Maj0rity of classes on ASU main campus has been canceled, even though the school's administration encourge all faculties and students to treat it as a normal school day (yeah, right).

I don't know why Bush and Kerry chose ASU as a debate location. Perhaps it might be Arizona is bordering Mexico and the debate's topics just happen to involve domestic policies and immigration?

If you enjoy trivias, you will like this:

ASU's Gammage Auditorium, which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The design was originally for an opera house in Baghdad, Iraq.

Interesting fact about Gammage Auditorium, Tian (Yeah, you'd told me about that via IM earlier today but I guess I wasn't paying enough attention). I wonder whether tomorrow anyone would bring up the fact that the auditorium might have never been built on ASU campus, if Baghdad had got its opera house?

Hey Tian, I was there at Hayden Lawn about the same time you have... but seeing the crowd I am not suprised I did not notice you. Hehe.

Campus has been much slower yesterday and today (except all this election craziness going on of course). Gammage seems pretty quiet, but there's tons of cops and other security people around.

In general it is quiter here on campus than I thought it would be.
