Funniest Chinese Blog Entry
I came across a blog named "Chabuduo" (差不多）, which is a common Chinese phrase to describe "equivalency".
The particular entry made me laugh so hard is about a girl describing her boyfriend:
我的男朋友是个洋鬼子，他26岁了，可是他的智商只有12岁。他有时候very very 聪明,有时候他像一个蒙古牛! 我努力把他变适中一点,但是我失败了.
Translation: My boyfriend is a foreign devil, hes 26 years old, but he really only has the mental capacity of a 12 year old. Sometimes he is very very intelligent, but other times hes like a Mongolian bull. I really try to help him change, to improve, but alas Ive failed, there is no hope. NOTE she actually had written 蒙古人(Mongolian person) but then changed it to Mongolian bull.
I have heard the similar thing in U.S. as well. Now American women have one more thing to talk about with the Chinese.
